I am done shopping here. I spent over $130 on vegetables and herbs there, and one of my cucumbers that I purchased died/failed immediately. I tried to call Cal's for a week straight to see if I could get some type of replacement since I wasn't able to go in there immediately. I don't know what is up with their answering system but no one ever answers and you are just directed to some phone tree and then forced to leave a voicemail that is never returned. I also sent a message via their website a week ago with no response. I would appreciate some kind of response from management and still think it would be great to get a refund considering how much money I have spent there over the years. Customer service has been terrible.

Cal's is my go-to for a great variety of plants. I go there for everything: distinctive flowers and plants, gardening tools, supplies and especially pots, great pots! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and readily available.

First time coming here. Micheal was excellent! He’s very knowledgeable about all kinds of plants and not pushy. He helped us get these 2 trees and recommend various soils and mulch but ultimately let us decide. He even offered and gave us a helpful guide on how to plant if we wanted . We will definitely come back for future plants Thank you for such a great experience

Be cautious buying perennials here if you want them to come back next year!!! I bought 4 hostas here last year and planted them next to a 5th hosta purchased at the same time from another local nursery. I was looking for a specific kind and was unable to find all 5 I needed at one location, hence buying them from 2 different nurseries. Of the 4 hostas purchased from Cal's, 3 didn't come back at all this year and 1 is a fraction of the size they should be (circled in orange, the thriving hosta circled in purple is from another local nursery). I called Cal's today and they wouldn't do anything to make it right, saying they only guarantee for "one growing season". I guess I'd like to know why you are selling hostas/perennials that don't come back after one winter.... you should be calling your hostas annuals, not perennials! Very, very disappointing that 1) their hostas didn't come back this year and 2) Cal's doesn't stand behind their products.
